Event Description
Maidstone Borough Council, Hazlitt Theatre and Parkwood Theatres band together again for their fifth year’s next exciting outdoor adventure!
The Hazlitt Theatre’s Open Air Summer Tour returns to Maidstone for another Summer adventure, 16-23 August! Grab a picnic and get ready for the ultimate family tale of friendship… Wind in the Willows!
The Open Air Summer Tour continues to be funded by Maidstone Borough Council, returning to popular venues like the Hermitage Millennium Amphitheatre, Bearsted Green and Little Fant Farm. After last year’s popularity, the tour is also set to return to venues in Lenham, Stockbury and South Park and more dates coming soon.
This August join Mole, Ratty and Badger on their great adventures with Mr Toad. Based on the book by Kenneth Grahame, this laugh out loud play will have the whole family in stitches.
Bored of Spring cleaning, Mr Mole ventures onto the River Bank in search of new adventures. Alongside Ratty, they meet Badger and make their way to the grand Toad Hall. There, they meet Mr Toad - a thrill seeker with a need for speed.
Can Mole, Ratty and Badger keep Mr Toad out of the fast lane, or will his speedy antics land them in serious trouble? With Toad Hall on the line, there is only one way to find out…
Join the adventure at one of the outdoor venues around Maidstone for the Hazlitt Theatre’s fifth annual Open Air Summer Tour - bigger and better than ever in the Maidstone theatre’s 70th year!
