Event Description
This year, Mental Health Awareness Week will take place from 12 to 18 May 2025 and the theme for 2025 is 'Community'. Being part of a safe, positive community is vital for our mental health and wellbeing. We thrive when we have strong connections with other people and supportive communities that remind us, we are not alone.
That's why, Mental Health Resource and the Counselling Centre are working in partnership to hold a 'Community Wellbeing Day', to raise awareness about mental health amongst our community.
Mental Health Resource and the Counselling Centre want to use Mental Health Awareness Week to raise awareness about mental health amongst our community, so people can become more informed around mental health, talk to other local organisations to find out about resources in the town and make connections with others in the community.
A full timetable will follow but attendees can stay for as long or as little as they like over the course of the 4 hour event.
